We often call this the 8th Wonder of the World! They are found in the provinces of Kalinga, Apayao, Benguet, Mountain Province and Ifugao Province.

With all the zigzag roads, the curves and everything, the trip was like a roller coaster ride. Our twelve hour travel was really draining. It was so tiring. But that roller coaster ride ended safely. After we checked-in our hotel we didn’t wait for another hour to see what we were there for.

Doubtlessly, the Banaue Rice Terraces was captivating. It was like a dream. I couldn’t believe what was right in front of me. It was breathtaking. I can’t just imagine the people who made a lot of hardwork and because of that they made an 8th Wonder of the World. It was so amazing. Words can’t explain the splendor of it. Locals still plant rice but not as abundant before. It was an unforgettable experience. I hope the locals and the government will continue to take care of the rice terraces as they’ve said that now, some locals don’t find farming appealing.
